The Undergraduate Research Journal for the Humanities

Our Mission

The Undergraduate Research Journal for the Humanities is a student-run, student-reviewed, and student-published annual academic research journal at the University of Kansas. Its primary goal is to provide a venue for undergraduates to publish their research in the Humanities. Its second goal is to promote the viability and brilliance of the Humanities. Through the URJH, we hope to prove that the Humanities continue to have a great deal of educational value to students.
We define Humanities as a topic in one of our Partners' departments, interdisciplinary studies, and international studies.
